    5/8 Crown & Sword
    Le savon des Volcans
    Thater Boar

Very nice shave. I hit the razor up with a coti and finished on a CF. absolutely no complaints with Thater boar. I would expect some pricklyness to return but now the real brush break in will begin. I'll probably rotate usage between the ABC and Thater until I'm satisfied with the brushes. Have a good one.

9A8F3C3F-77D4-4370-BECD-EA54BEF2473B.jpeg Today I used my 1954 Russian straight. I love this razor. Shaves as good as any I own. The only thing I don’t like, is trying to keep those clear scales clean. How do you guys do it?

It maybe a pain in the #$@ to keep the scales clean but they look cool.

Tonight's shave was with an American Razor. I had a flawless 2 pass shave, that left me BDBS. Only 1 issue, the little mole on my neck, that "use to be there". This one takes a superb edge.

Razor- Shapleigh HDW Co. St Louis USA.
Brush- B400 By Tom. Whipped Dog Boar Knot. 2 hairs lost.
    Soap- Arko/Avon Spicy scented
Aftershave- Avon Spicy. Viking Horn Decanter.

Robinson Marples & Co “The Celebrated King William Razor”
Can’t find too much on this one. You have the King William timeframe of 1830-1837 but not much else I can find that ties a Robinson and a Marples together :signs002:

Tanifuji Favorit 3000, unscented XPEC and a Simpsons 57. The brush was last used with Floris 89, and I was getting some lovely wafts of 89 several times during the lathering/shaving. Quite nice!

    Cheers, Steve

20 laps on the leather to keen up the Clauss edge, one and a half rather noisy passes, and the end result is a great shave. An excellent way to start a Hump Day.

Brush- B400 By Tom. Whipped Dog Boar knot. 3 hairs lost.
    Soap- Arko/Avon Spicy scented

Today was my fourth straight shave. I used my 6/8 Dovo.

Glacial Lemon Chill was lathered on with a two band Tuxedo. After two good passes I rinsed off and applied GLC splash and balm.
A very decent shave considering my newness to the Dark Side.

Sorry for the lack of an artfully constructed photo.
