This was a amazing shave. Absolutely no trace of stubble, no irriration and just a perfect shave in everyway. I don't know why I don't use I Coloniali more often. this stuff is great, from the spicy scent to the light menthol. The lather feels thinner than other soaps, but if you slowly add water, you can get the perfect consistancy. Decided to pair it with Cognac & Cuban Cigars to keep that spicy scent going the rest of the day (or almost).

Sorry I couldn't get a few pics to load of previous shaves. Had a lot on my mind today and and as a result, the shave was not the best. Still managed with no irritation or nicks, but not that close. The Angels Share has a nice sweet bourbon scent and whipped up a decent lather in the copper bowl. Finished off with Myrsol Emulsion to repair any damage that may have occured.

 

I never knew Henri Et Victoria made a triple milled soap... will have to keep that in mind. Love their balms but wasn't that impressed with the original formula, although haven't tried their tallow formula yet either.

 

Oh man that must have taken forever to use up that much Tabac. My hats off to you sir

Third night with the Techmatic and another fine result. If you can find one of these still in the package I'd recommend trying it, even if it's just for old times sake. This is the fourth use of the same blade and it isn't showing any signs of dulling yet. If you get at least 5 shaves per section of the blade than that would be 25 shaves on a 5 "blade" cartridge. I'm not recommending it as a permanent thing, obviously since it's out of production, but it has been fun to run it three days in a row.

I was also a bit surprised to call it a BBS tonight. Might be just barely but it's good enough to qualify. A little practice and it performs extremely well. In thinking of how it compares to a Gillette Adjustable on gap, I'd put the wide open setting on this one at about a 6 or 7 on the Fatboy. At least that's how it feels.

My weekend begins now! Got plenty of things to get done around here and will try to chill out a bit as well. My pancreas is being difficult today. It needs to get over that and let me enjoy my time off. Time to medicate. Have a great night and a better tomorrow!

I don't have any CB, so I went with a favorite set, and I was rewarded with a superb shave. Close, comfortable and smelling great.

Good morning friends. A fine three pass shave today with the Gillette Aristocrat loaded with a Personna blade. Fantastic lather from the Proraso SC. I am smooth and refreshed. Enjoy your day friends. ☺️
