I got about 40 vintage ones from the 80s or earlier at an estate sale. They are made in England, and I'd put them up against my favorite blades for comfort.

I may do aftershaves next year, as I seem to be up to almost 30 of them now. I need to order a new witch hazel too. This year we are focusing on soaps and fruitcake only.

Last two shaves have involved my new Bevel razor, Feather blade, Blackship Grooming software, and the big boar brush. Did two passes on Monday, and three on Tuesday. Got solid DFS on both without irritation. Like the efficient razor coupled with a sharp blade. I wouldn't call it aggressive, but it works well. Down to the ring of death in the soap that won't die. Back to my focus tomorrow...

The last month or so I’ve become increasingly frustrated that I’m not getting as smooth a shave on my neck as I used to. In today’s blinding glimpse of the obvious I decided to apply the #1 tip that I give to new shavers who have this problem - USE LESS PRESSURE! Amazingly, this self advice worked. Apparently old habits die hard.

Depending on the perspective, RN's and Cajuns are lazy beer swilling ignorant county folk, or they are resourceful, woods wise, independent. honorable people. Some are even High Tech and live in town. No insults intended or implied.

I enjoy a nice injector SE shave. Those also have the thicker blades than DE's. Yes about the Ming Shi - aggressive and efficient. Ride the cap, no pressure, and watch out during set down.

I think that is the preferred method for Gem types? I'm asking because I couldn't get a comfortable reduction from one. Admittedly I gave up early.

You've identified a key ingredient that gives added comfort. Makes shopping for new products more targeted. Good News! I'm evaluating and thinking along the same lines. Less is more when it's the right stuff.

LOL, You have an opinion. A kind statement. I think I recall which way you lean.

That was the DE blade my dad recalls. When they wern't available anymore, he switched carts.
