Actually it won't. The Several States elect the president, the people in this country have never elected a president, despite what academia and media have the body politic believe. The Electoral College is designed to protect people like you from people like Sunny P.

She was. In case you were wondering. ;)

Great shave Jason. I replaced the boar knot in my 30 DC LE brush with a Tuxedo knot.

Just baby steps... If I remember correctly, @stingraysrock has been only using his 2011 R41 for the last 4+ years at this point. Not sure if he rotates at all.

That's right Jason, just none handy. I've got a few hundred in my secondary stash.

Colgate left me soft and smooth today. Give it a go!

    Thanks Clint!

I would have turned the channel to the Latino music station and started dancing. He would have either left or joined in. Sorry he ruined your cigar.

Salty ...is a word that never tires. Great shave !

    April 20 SOTD:

    Razor: Karve Christopher Bradley
    Blade: Rapira Swedish Super Steel
    Brush: PAA The Green Ray
    Lather: Crown King Pareidolia
    Aftershave: Crown King Pareidolia
    Additional Care:
    Stirling Unscented PSB

A late afternoon shave for me, as my wife and I had dinner out without the kids. I used this soap for the first time with her, and got her approval in the scent. It was the first use of the razor, and it was smooth. Definitely a nice shaver. It was a good way to clean up after an afternoon spent working in the yard. I hope everyone has had a great day.

    Gillette Adjustable Friday

    SOTD 4.20.2018
    Pre-shave: Hot COFFEE & a hot shower
    Brush: RazoRock synthetic
    Soap: Williams
Razor: Gillette Fatboy E-4 on #9
    Blade: German Wilkinson-Sword (2)
Post-shave: Dickinson's Original WH, Nivea Men Sensitive PS Balm, Pinaud Clubman Classic Vanilla AS

Even though I had an early morning shave, I had a busy day and this is my first opportunity to post. I can't start any day without a half hour walk with the dogs and then the aid of some black coffee. I needed a quick, no-nonsense shave so I could get out the door for a breakfast meeting, and the logical choice was Williams and the Fatboy. 2 passes, and only 2 passes, resulted in a DFS. The post-shave products were icing on the cake!

I used to be a critic of Williams, but no more. It's won a place in my shave den and my heart.

    Have a great weekend everyone!

Thank you, Clint! Well, this one is a brushed finish, so it isn't shiny. That way you won't have consider yourself weak for buying a shiny object.

Call me old fashioned but i like the William's also..its slick and gets the job done . Leaves the skin soft afterwards. Fuzzy sent me some Colgate and its become another favorite of mine . I like hanging onto the ways of the past . Old razors , old soaps , old aftershave. Glad you had a good day !

John, I've been following your pre-shave glycerin reports with interest. I have a nearly full bottle of the stuff and will have to give it a go sometime.

I stand corrected. I hope you and your daughter have a great trip and a successful one!

    Arko Adjustable April!!

    April 20

    Razor - 1962 (H1) Gillette Slim (6)
    Blade - [IMG] (2)
    Pre-Shave - Stirling Mentholated Pre-Shave Soap
    Soap - Arko
    Brush - 30 DC LE
    Post - Alum

Second day with the Slim and Perma-Sharp. 30 DC brush for a great Arko lather and the shave was as smooth and effective as yesterday. No blood, quiet alum, not much more to say. I did my head shave earlier with the usual Merkur 23c, Astra SP and Arko with cheap VDH boar brush. It was the same. Smooth, no issues, no blood. Almost makes me want to shave again just because they've been so good today.

One more day with the Slim then I'll have a bit of a decision to make for the end of the month. More on that in the next post. Hope you have a great start to your weekend and that the weather finally begins to acknowledge the date!
