Second shave with this combo. To my nose, the Coates Tea Tree scent leans toward the medicinal. I think that if it was stronger, I'd not use it. But there is no denying the great lather it serves up and the fine post shave skin feel. I may try one of the other flavors tomorrow.

    Cream: Coates Tea Tree
    Brush: Omega S10065
    Bowl: Dollar Tree salsa
    Razor: Fatip Grande
    Blade: Polsilver Super Iridium (2)
    Aftershave: Barbasol Brisk

    Bombed Soap Commander Vision
    Gillette slim (j2)(7)
    Rapira (3)

Today's shave was nice. A good menthol Monday shave.

I've finally seen a little hole in the bottom of a SC tub. They last forever it seems.

I tried Perma Sharp blades for the first time and it went well. I could tell these are pretty sharp, but the shave was smooth and easy. I only made one pass on my neck because it's still a little tender, but Reserve Cool calmed it right down.

    Rating: 5 / 5

    Razor: Rockwell 6s R6
    Blade: Perma Sharp Super
    Brush: Brothers Bristles Silver Surfer
    Lather: B-M Reserve Cool
    Aftershave: B-M Reserve Cool

The set up that gives me the most satisfaction is: Gillette Twinjector/Proraso/Personna floating head razor. I`m just about out of the blades and I can`t find anymore, I`ve looked everwhere I know. Where do you get your Twinjector II blades?

    Razor: Personna Floating Head
    Blade: Gillette Twinjector (2)
    Pre Shave Oil: DIY
    Brush: VDH Badger
    Lather: Proraso
    AS: Mennen afta
    Newspaper Date: Sept. 10, 1943

To date, this set up is the best (for me) that I can come up with. There are some others that come within a whisker or two ( pun intended). A 2 pass, WTG/ATG shave went smooth as always. No anomalies, just great shaving. That refreshing feeling after a cold water rinse and a good AS, makes for a very Happy Camper. God Bless.

    Schick I2 razor/Personna blade
    Weber DLC/Astra SP blade
    TSD Iced Lemongrass -SS
    WD Synthetic brush
    Osage Rub/Witch Hazel w/aloe
    TSD 2X Mentholated Lemongrass A/S

Started with the Schick and it didn't work well at all, not sure why. Had the Weber close so finished with it and a fine shave resulted. Now go enjoy your day folks.

Picked this one up at a local Flea market about a week ago for under $20. Brand spanking new and took a fine edge. A 2 pass whisker removal that left me face finely chiseled. No jimps on the tang, but overall very nicely balanced, mild and a fine piece of steel for the $$$. Have a great day and shaves Gents.... ;)

SUDSY SOAPERY Lavender & Peppermint Soap and Balm - Just INCREDIBLY SLICK!!! Very Natural scent and feel! NOTHING ARTIFICIAL HERE FOLKS - I use all caps because the SS needs more love, there better than 90 percent of all the soaps I have, and yes better than most tallow soaps and I LOVE Tallow ( I could care less about veganism and animals and blah blah), but this soap destroys most tallow formulas. Back to my Valet vc4 because its just an amazing razor - used a Fresh Feather SS - so it was perfection.

    Peace, Jamie

That's gotta be some SLICK lather! Just to look at the pic, I had to keep scrolling up with the mouse as the pic was sliding ever downward.
