You must live in the Great Lakes area +\- a state or two. I placed my order on the 14th and it’s still in Decatur, with an ETA of the 28th.
Well I’m not much of a detective! I’m in Oregon, and unless it’s something from Amazon, it seems to take forever.
Living an hour away from a major international airport probably helps. The Stirling is definitely worth the wait though! Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
I thought I was being clever one time when I ordered from West Coast Shaving. Imagine my surprise when the order finally arrived from New York! Phoenix Accoutrements arrives quickly for me though.
It’s definitely worth the wait! I have enough soaps to last until 2025, so I just remind myself that before the internet and Prime, orders used to take a while. And I’d rather support shaving specific companies than Jeff Bezos.
What is that small bottle I spy at the bottom of your photo? Nothing I've seen on the website. More info please.
\\ I had some difficulty with WCS too...should have stuck with the M family(Maggards)...anyway GETTIN BACK TO STOYLIN.....
Right....in this new world of "The Bigger The Better", or "It's All About Money". I do find it interesting that housing developments now exist where Stapleton was.
There is a great shopping center there now which also houses the largest Outdoor World (Bass Pro-Shop) in the state, along with several unique and interesting restaurants.
I'm glad you brought us back on topic. Course I might have had something to do with taking us OFF it (chuk yuk ykuk).
Please advise us how the Satsuma smells as a splash. I got a free sample of the bath soap and its nice. Let us know how long lasting is the Edt. So glad Stirling finally is going to make some EdT's. I use the aftershaves as colognes so it will be nice to see proper Edts. I had a great shave this morning with the Lil Brudder brush and Stirling Sandalwood soap. It required 20 swirls instead of 16 like the Tuxedo brush does. I pressed down harder this time as was recommended by you guys during the loading. I also had a great shower using Stirling Bay Rum bar soap and loaded it to the 25% Salux towel for a total of 40 strokes which is the magic number for me. Anything less than that and you dont get enough lather for a fast shower.
I was having a sniff off between Satsuma and Island Man to see which I was going to use on my next shave. Both are great scents but Island Man got the nod. It starts off with a strong coconut and rum note and then somewhere in the background you get a hint of tropical flowers and something a bit citrusy. Very nice! I couldn't wait and splashed on some of the AS, we'll see what SWMBO thinks when she gets home. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
