so it turns out if you pull apart all the little wires in a ribbon cable, braid them and then put the whole thing back together it doesn't work anymore...

 

Was on my way out the door today and our best friend Mr. Mailman rings the bell. Lo and behold it's a Christmas package from good ole Tracy up Wyoming way. Woo Hoo. Screw work...gotta check my new toys. The haul:

A shiny slant and several packs of various blades.
Some TSD Vetiver Cream and AS (I don't get the bacon thing, but maybe some sort of plant life--I need to use them before passing judgement)
A tub of HBS Mayan Gold
Two mini playdough containers w/ TOBS St. James and Almond

Yeah baby! It's gonna take me days and days to try all this stuff out. Good on ya Tracy. Great PIF my friend. Once the holidays are over I've got plans for some orders, and I'm gonna remember you.

I know what he's on about and I couldn't agree more. I mean, not about him... I agree that I'm in the same boat.

 

I didn't really intend for it to work again, but I'm on my two weeks notice at work and the boss didn't give me anything to do.

It's odd I'll give you that. I learned awhile back not to judge any shave product based on it's smell in the jar or bottle however. I am going to give them a chance. Honestly my immediate impression was some kind of weed or plant smell. Kind of that sharp, earthy, tangy scent you get when pulling weeds. I did not get bacon or meat as some of you suggested. I don't know. I've seen more than one postive review of the odor so somebody likes it. Then again there are those that like Lilac Vegetal too :sick007.

Like I said I'll give them a fair chance and see what I think. If they're a no go I'll send them onward.

I used the TSD Lime Cream this morning. Worked pretty darn good, I was very pleased

 

I need to try my TSD creams again now that I know what I'm doing ( :happy102 yeah right) and used all the TOBS rose that Dom sent me

 

How did the lather hold up? Any dissipating? Also what was the water ratios. I'll figure all this out on my own of course, but I wish to know your experience as well.

 

I'm 50. That's next month. :happy102
