Awesome gear, Keith. BTW, what floor are you on? Your pic shows a downward view to other high rises.
Congrats on a great first shave. Quite a few folks on here enjoy their Fatips as well.
Cool photo, Clint. The oneblade looks like it is ‘floating’!
Sounds like a great start to the day, Jim. Certainly another great photo effect!

Supply Co. v.2 SE injector on two-dot plate / Personna (11)
    Simpsons CH2 Synthetic brush
    Vitos Eucalyptus shaving cream
    Alum and Osage Rub

Same old, same old. Just a great two pass shave to a great finish today. A notable difference to yesterday's Dr. Bronner's shave...

Thanks, I've always struggled with pressure. Will have to try the wipe lather away technique.

I always souse or bloom my hard soaps. Tomorrow I will assault it with an Omega Pro, that should bring some cooperation.

It looks lovely and feels great. Finish is excellent and it looks cool sitting on a black towel. Great in the hand, light and easy to grip. There's no blade alignment shenanigans that I've read about elsewhere, I slotted the Feather on and off a couple of times, screwed it up and it comes out nice and even both sides. Plating is lovely and for 24 quid delivered I am very impressed.

I'd compare it to the R41 backed off a touch in terms of aggression but where it differs is that it is bit less forgiving if I get the angle wrong hence my nick today. I think a month with this razor will force me to think technique, angle, technique, angle all the time which is a good thing.

Shave in terms of normal passes that I do (2 and some clean up I call the ".5") was excellent and sitting here 8 hrs later still feels smooth. Jawline demanded great attention , the razor gave a great result here (my PITA face area) but demanded constant respect.

Time will tell but I don't think I'd get this out for a 5:30am Monday am rush shave at the moment. I am however definitely leaning toward it for May.

    Stirling Mentholated Pre-Shave Soap
    '82 Gillette Super Adjustable @ 7
    Gillette 7 O'Clock Super Stainless(3)
Yaqi Ruby Red (24mm finest, Frigate Class)
Stirling Island Man Soap and AS

I know I know, not the best color combination. But I wanted to use both my new Yaqi brush and Stirling soap set. First off let me say, this brush is gorgeous! Its finish has far far exceeded my expectations! Not bad for $25 eh ? The knot is also night and day better (for me) compared to the silver tip. It has nice backbone (though not as much as my 3omm Maseto or my 35mm Doug Korn), a little bit of scrub but still nice soft tips(but not gel tips). I guess two band knots are just my thing. The Stirling Island man is an amazingly wonderful scent. I'm not usually a fan of coconut, but this has enough other things going on that really make it spectacular. Glacial level After shave? Oh Yeah! I guess I'm becoming a bit of a menthol head. Here'ss my take on the scent:

It starts off with a strong coconut and rum note and then somewhere in the background you get a hint of tropical flowers and something a bit citrusy.

Have a great day my friends!

Forget the matchy matchy artistic stuff with the brush and the soap. That looks like an epic shave, Andrew. I agree Island Man is some good stuff, and the new Yaqi looks great!

I disagree, Andrew, I thought the colours looked great. Great write-up on the AS as well. 'Great minds' on the birth year SA again this morning...
