Today's shave was with a Rat Razor, that shaves like a dream. I could only take out so much pitting, and left it, "As Is". I had one of the smoothest 2 pass shave ever, that left me BDBS. Excellent razor. I would love to have a new version of it.

Razor- "Griffon Cutlery Works". #35. The Barrow $ Comstock Co. New London Conn.
Brush- JR#262 Ebony/Birdseye Maple. Silvertip Badger Knot.
Soap- Arko/Avon Spicy scented
Aftershave- Shulton Old Spice. Shulton Old Spice, Toilet Water. 3/4 oz. Decanter. Uber Strong Stuff.

 

It is quite a brush. It may be big but it is not a pig. Having a true bulb, it is not over overwhelming. It behaves on par with a Chubby-3. As a haha, here it is with one of my smallest, a Culmak

 

A fantastic shave this morning with a Rapira instead of a kai blade and without the shim. I had no weepers, no nicks and was bbs smooth.

Tonight's shave was very nice. The lemon smells so nice, the AoS cream is very slick. The FH performed flawlessly, three passes made me smooth and comfy. Finished with more lemon, then a spritz of dolce light blue. I'm ready to see my kid make a very nice hit to left field. I love it when he's slugging the baseball.
Hope y'all did as well, or better.

Another fine shave with the Schick M and Chinese Schick blade. This blade proves the theory that when an outside company, particularly Schick or Gillette, contracts with Chinese blade makers, they can make a very fine blade. They have the skills, just not the desire to make their own products this well apparently.

The 30 DC LE brush always brings a smile to my face and after it lathers up it's an even bigger smile. Fantastic and easy lather from the Arko ring 'o death in my mug. Two passes, just a bit of touch up and a very high level DFS is the result. I'll take that all day long. Twice as long on Thursday. Oh wait, that's today!

Back to work tomorrow after a 1 day weekend. I know, nobody needs that much time off! Have a great Friday tomorrow!

Great photo. Very interesting razor. It looks like Freddy Kruger designed it! How does it shave? What blade does it use? I don't think I have ever seen one before and it looks in excellent condition. BTW you brush is way cool too. Does it glow? It has that tint to it, but I don't think I would shave in the dark!
