My Williams Wednesday shave was on Thursday morning....early early Thursday morning. This new to me 1907 GEM Jr. is far from mild. I loved the shave.



This afternoon was a Schick M and ARKO! Smooth...

My comments of yesterday about preferring a Heavy AC Razor, are borne out by Todays Shave.Getting near the end of the MWF but get it right and the lather works a treat with any Razor. The Mongoose might be a heavy beast but with the MWF and the Proline blade the Shave was as smooth as silk. I find that with a very light touch it can be used with precision to whisk away any stubborn areas of growth left after major clearance done. I am rather
pleased at the overall finish acquired today especially as the Shave was so comfortable.

Another great shave before work. 1910 Gem Jr. Bar with a @Jayaruh handle. The Proraso loved the horse brush! Chargeeeee!!

 

Got back from my most recent week of travels and once again picked up a cold. Didn’t feel like messing around for a shave so I picked up my Bunny. It was a treat as always. Bonus - I’ll still have a close shave tomorrow.

The alternative is those poor little razors being neglected while the SEs (superior equipment?) get all the love.

After the Mongoose I just had to go with the ATT SE1, which was also fitted with a blade on its 3rd outing. If you get used to the larger head on these Razors, they really clear the cheeks in short order, I have no trouble working in other areas with both Razors. I had another really smooth and comfortable Shave, with a slightly better overall finish today with the ATT Se1.

A lovely relaxed Sunday morning shave with the razor that kindled my interest in SEs and had me wondering if S.E actually stands for superior equipment.
The Arko cream isn't half bad either, well the scent isn't half as bad as the soap.
All finished of with a splash of the wonderful Pashana, bliss.

I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Van Der Hagen Luxury Shaving Soap face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #284 synthetic brush. I did two passes with the Gem 1911 Lather Catcher Razor with an Original Gem Cutlery SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Aqua Velva Musk AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

I agree, after the smooth shave I received from my Pal Injectomatic yesterday my favorite Gillette Redtip Superspeed may sit on the sidelines for awhile. I really could skip my shave this morning due to the fact my face still feels smooth, and there isn't much stubble showing. Look's like it's going to be a late afternoon or early evening shave for me today.
