    Thank you, Joseph.
The handle is new, but the knot is from a four-year-old brush I bought on the BST on another shaving forum which hadn't been used much and it is, probably, the best knot I have ever tried in the past seven years of wet shaving.
Superbly dense, with incredible backbone and lovely scrub, but with wonderfully soft tips. I have no idea where Bernd sourced this hair, but it is the best D01 2-Band hair I have ever tried. :)

It felt good while it lasted, then the burn and weepers appeared. I don't know if the blade is a dud or what, hut I might have to skip shaving tomorrow.

Today's shave was with China's finest. I had a very smooth 2 pass shave, that left me with a DFS, no clean-ups. Zero issues. The Chinese steel sure can hold a super fine edge.

    Razor- Gold Dollar 66
Brush- JR#262, Ebony/Birdseye Maple. Silvertip Badger, by Whipped Dog. Excellent brush.
    Soap- Arko/Avon Spicy scented
    Aftershave- Pinaud Clubman

Organsim 46b opens with a distinct Grand Marnier and cocoa vibe. Later, the sweetness of the liqueur mellows a bit revealing cured tobacco, but it remains boozy all the while. The splash presents the same way, except it's a bit more of the bitter orange. It unfolds similarly, but the dry down is interesting. The sweetness transforms to something reminiscent of warm caramel without the buttery note. Then there's a brief powdery element followed by a gentle, sustained cool ethereal essence. It's quite a ride!
