Rarely post a pre-shave SOTD, but I needed a kick in the pants to finish this restoration... so this is my plan for this evening’s shave.
Razor: 10/8+ Joseph Rodgers & Sons rescaled in a Max Sprecher titanium suit
Brush: McPhail “Top Hat” w/ 28mm Nathan Clark Ubersoft
Soap: Wholly Kaw Lav Sublime Concerto
    A/S: Fine Lavender Pour Homme
Now off to the stones to see what we can do with this puppy :).

And I just love this angle for this razor...

Two passes with this awesome Filarmonica Doble Temple this morning. Dolphin smooth in most places, minimal blood. A great Sunday shave!

I’m still learning this near wedge Lund. I put a little refresh on it on my yellow-green Thuri to sharpen it a little. It could have used a little more as my beard was heavier than normal. It did the job but required a little more attention than usual. All smooth now. :happy088:

    Hot water preparation
    AOS Lavender PSO
    DG Handcrafted Soap Pure Lavender
    Romera Wengue Chubby Manchurian Badger
    Lund 11/16 near wedge
    Thayers Rose Petal Witch Hazel

    Happy shaving - Karl

Tonight's shave was with a fine shaving blade. I had a 2 pass shave, that went very smooth, and left me with a BBS shave. Zero issues. Very noisy blade.

    Razor- Dubl Duck Special No1
Brush- B400 By Tom. Boar hair knot, with 5 hairs lost.
    Soap- Arko/Avon Spicy
Aftershave- Shulton Old Spice. Flying Cloud Decanter.

Shave #38 on the Cape, no deterioration of the edge with suede/cordovan since adding 20 canvas at shave #32. A Simpsons Tulip 2 lathered up some ABC cream and D. R. Harris Pink topped it off for dolphin smooth.

    Cheers, Steve

I wasn't 100% satisfied with my last shave with this razor so a little touch up with my black arkie took care of things nicely. First shave with Fougere Parfaite, enjoyed the scent, reminiscent of Brut, so if I don't burn out on the scent it's a winner for me. Have a good one.

IMHO I get my best shaves from wedge or near wedge razors. Especially the vintage wade and butchers or Fredrick Reynolds

Tonight's shave was with an American Made Wedge. I had a very smooth 2 pass shave, that left me near BBS, without a cleanup. Zero issues, just a silent shave from an excellent razor.

Razor- "Spike", by Union Cutlery, Olean NY.
Brush- B400 By Tom(@twhite ). Whipped Dog Boar Knot. 2 hairs lost.
    Soap- Arko/Avon Spicy
Aftershave- Avon Spicy. Viking Horn Decanter.
