What Straight Razor Did You Use Today?

TOBS Rose soap, Excelsior Cerda Pura badger brush, Edvin Neiström razor with barber's notch (this barber's notch thing pleases me, dunno why), Pitralon Polar aftershave. Stropped it up to a frightening sharpness - I like that too.

Amazing razor all around... spine work, the scales & the grind. Gorgeous.

 

Breathtaking!

 

This Filly keeps a really sharp edge. One of the sharpest. Cutting down the whiskers was simply a matter of moving the blade lightly across the skin. Nice sound, clean shave.

You just have to watch out for that point. Some hours after this shave I felt my ear lobe and noticed dried blood all scabbed up. I had sliced my ear and never realized it.

Today's shave was an old school Wosty with some interesting scales. While my preference is for modern razors, this one is just plain cool.
