    Day #3 of Fatip. Up at 5am to get train to office as car is unwell. Makes me realise I’m lucky to work from home most days. 2 passes and a definitely work acceptable shave. So far shaves with this razor are long lasting. Today will be a decent test though as normally only shave a couple of hrs later. Have a great day folks

    Alternating out some of the hardware and software this morning. Mike's Orange, Cedar and Black Pepper has a wonderful scent and top shelf performance. The Thäter boar loaded and lathered the OCBP with ease. The real trick is to add water slowly. I decided to go with a traditional three pass shave this morning. With touch ups along my jawline and neck, I almost caught the baby. Once again my lower right neck was my nemesis. A splash of Fine L'Orange Noir and I am ready for the day. I hope everyone has great Wednesday.

    Today's morning shave pitted B&M Adagio against Rock Rose Apothecary soap. For those interested, I'll post a review in my soap thread shortly, however the big news on this shave was that the day with the Fatboy has prompted me to consider switching to it as my daily driver. The extra weight makes it easier for weight of the razor to do the work, making it less tempting to apply pressure. I may have to procure another Fatboy to send off to Delta Echo for cerakoting. I did this once before but the box "got lost" in the postal system and and ended up being returned to me several weeks later. After relabeling it and sending it out again, apparently it promptly arrived at Delta Echo with no razor inside. As such, be on the lookout for any suspiciously well-shaven postal employees.

    Anybody got a scent review on this one? I've got Cheshire (which is a nice Early Grey Tea scent), which is nice, but I don't reach for it as often as others. It is similar to that or got it's own vibe?

    Prep: Cold water and Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap
    Blade: Vintage Personna ultra chrome
    Razor: Schick E2 injector
    Brush: JR #60 synthetic
    Soap: Jeeves of Hudson Street Bay Rum
    Post: Witch hazel, RazoRock Blue Barbershop aftershave

    A few weepers this morning. These E razors are stout. Quite a difference between these and the other Schick injectors. The E has always been one to respect and treat with really light pressure. Tried this morning but perhaps grogginess got in the way. Pretty smooth in the end despite the weepers. All is yet well.

    The Jeeves hasn't let me down and is going strong. This will be a good month. Have a great day!

    Sorry you lost your razor but that last sentence made me spit out my coffee!

    That E could be part leopard . Lol To quote Fuzzy " dont blame the clutch" . I think he did say though that the E is more agressive of all the Shicks . I try not to shave when I'm tired or not alert yet . One slip and the blade will rip. Still a great shave either way . Hope the rest of your day goes smoother Perry.
