*- As the warm weather appears to be here now, I'm experimenting with some "winter-weather" soaps&A.S. splashes, just to see how they feel on me this spring&summer. Just a few, not all. For humidity, there's still good ol' Stoylin Glacial Wintergreen.

**-Usually, of course, I've been writing the normal company name-Stirling-in my SOTD, so any new members can learn my approaches&favorite companie, but I decided "Ahhhh, it's time to get silly". I'm sure Doc Ezlovan won't mind-HEY I DID IT AGAIN!!. Ahh, you regulars can tell the newbies who Doc Ezlovan is

 

Roby, it's a nice shave for a DE.

 

I might get the Stoylin Green sometime, but I never had Polo Green so I couldn't compare. Must be pretty good though.

 

My Nordic Queen provides one smooth, amazing shave. It doesn’t hurt that the blade was given a special hone job by @Billyfergie. I had days of stubble effortlessly removed like no one’s business. Fantastic.

Oh OK thanks.....he also has the Blue(Doc Ezlovan), don't know if he had the Black one, too. For that matter, I'm not familiar with Polo Black (Men's Health Magazine didn't include that one for a "sniff test".-that I knew of anyway).

 

Oh no...with Doc Ezlovan, I mean business ). Stirling, in that case.

Todays shave was with a freshly acquired and honed razor. It has a Double Concave grind, which makes it stiff and very very noisy. I had a very smooth, and noisy 2 pass shave, that left me BBS. This blade takes a very sharp edge, and is a pleasure to use. Although, the noise is something I will have to learn to block out.
