Day two on the edge, eleven on the stick. And a good two pass was had by all. Hero finish. Seemed better than yesterday's Grail attempt. Spent the day playing in the dirt and taking in the sun. Other than that...all is quiet in Colorado.

I have it on good authority that Ian Anderson of Jethro Tull also plays a piccolo.

Nice pic, Jared. I had a few Captain’s Choice samples and got similar results to yours. I was underwhelmed by the North scent in the AS sample I had though.

That is a fantastic photo of your Dogwood, Jim. It is one of my absolute favourite brushes that get posted on here.

That Rubberset is simply a stunner, Mark. It is in amazing condition. I haven’t heard of that soap before, is it a favourite?

Soap Commander produces a top notch lather and probably doesn’t get its due.

Awesome ‘Rick Pic’. I think you’ve inspired me to pull out my Port au Prince sometime, it has been awhile.

 

I would agree with that. And, in the interest of full disclosure, I've only used this particular soap from them. It was gifted to me and I've never even ordered any other samples from them since. I'm not sure why since I've always had great lather from it and the scent of this one is not only very nice but also very original. Definitely need to give a few other scents a try out.

Thank you Jason. I'm enjoying the P-A-P. A nice scent as I associate lemongrass with clean. Can't eat food flavored with the spice. The mutton tallow adds to the overall flavor of the soap and gives a very slick cushion. Got me thinking I ought to try Electric Sheep.

The competition for the Shavey Awards are very tough this year. Tomorrow I will confront my biggest shaving fear for Mayhem.

 

Monday Shave

I took this razor through a progression of diamond strops and the edge is beyond sharp, I should have picked a different soap for this shave. While the AdP smells awesome it is not in the top tier for slickness nor cushion. A cut due to a lack of focus, two weepers and some irritation.

Up and moving very early for physical therapy. Good thing everything just works well together. Three passes and just missed the baby. I did have one weeper due to operator error. Overall an excellent shave. I hope everyone has a great Monday.
