Grooming Department is great as well. My wife got me that and the Wholly Kaw at Christmas. Top tier stuff, both of them

Thank you, John! I have three Jayaruh brushes. They are all top notch. He's quite an artist.

    Thank you, Jim!

Thank you, Clint! I may have picked the wrong mug for the soap. It's a little narrow down at the bottom and you can't swirl as quickly as with a bigger opening. But, first world problems! I'm really enjoying the Jeeves.

Nice Stoylin mug...(actually, I'm sure there was some "creativity" involved)

    Brush: Semogue 620
    Soap: Williams

Back to what is basically a "can't fail" combination. Last month I didn't put in much time with Injectors except for the Pal and Schick Adjustable so this was long overdue. This is a bit of a lead-in to some MAYhem later in the week when I pull out a newly acquired vintage Trac-II.

Well, so much for the Curley blade. So far, though, I have not been able to find any Moe or Larry blades.

Well, 6 days into May and we have Cookies leading for the second straight survey(course a bit of a different overall name). Up 20%-lookin good. Too early to call, but it's a tough trend to overcome.

Thanks Jason! The Rubberset was reconditioned and reknotted by my amigo @clint64. He did an incredible job. I believe it was the Eighth Rubberset that he completed. I call it OCHO.

I didn't see that anyone answered this Randy. The Maggard synthetic knots are the same as the Stirling and are also Yaqi sourced. I have a 26mm Maggard synth in my 30DCLE and it is fantastic!

Excellent photos and shave reports this morning, Gentlemen. I am once again home with Logan who is having a hard time with this set of teeth. Taking him to the Dr later today just to make sure there isn't something else going on.

Thank you. It is moving. We are getting the last of the concrete poured this week for our storm shelter, then they can start framing. Looking forward to that really starting.

This. I can get a passable shave with the GEM razors. Some of the old Lathercatchers are the best looking razors ever made. I really want to love them. I don't. I also like the idea of a shavette. But yesterday's shave reminded me about how much I love having a true straight razor, with all the stropping, maintenance, and pageantry associated with it. It takes longer than a DE, and I can't get my neck as clean shaven, but I truly enjoy the whole process. Kind of like how sousing your soap makes it more enjoyable to use, between the great scent and the ease of loading. Its your shave, enjoy it your way.

Hope Logan is feeling better soon. Its no fun for anyone in the house when teeth are coming in.

I really like the injectors I when use them too. And you just reminded me of two more things to do during MAYhem -- break in my new-to-me Schick H1 "Hussy" and revisit the Trac II and Atra razors that have been sitting unused in my medicine cabinet with some packages of carts for at least a decade. If I can get a halfway decent shave from the carts now, I might start using them as airline-friendly travel razors instead of my electric.
