Another excellent shave this morning. Tranquility was easy to load and lather. I really enjoy using this soap. Three passes and touch ups just missed the baby. As usual my lower right neck proved to be my nemesis. A splash of Fine Lavender and I think I am ready for the day. I hope everyone has a great Tuesday.

Thanks Jason! I had to break the habits I got into with cart shaving. I'm now able to shave daily with what I think is my most aggressive razor without issues.

Prep: Cold water and Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap
    Blade: Schick
    Razor: Schick J1 injector
    Brush: Rubberset 100T restored badger
Soap: Jeeves of Hudson Street Bay Rum
Post: Witch hazel, Jeeves of Hudson Street Tobacco Bay Leaf aftershave

Fine shave this morning. I soused the Jeeves for the first time and was rewarded with incredible, yogurty lather with minimal effort. It was excellent, slick, bountiful lather and was shorn off easily by the nimble J1 injector. Nice and easy shave all together. Really enjoying this month's focus of an alphabetical march through my injectors while simultaneously working on finishing off a soap. I certainly enjoy the Mayhem stuff and like my sidelines view of it all.

    Have a great day!

Nice Perry! I have never soused my soaps, I'll have to give it a try.

What does it mean to souse the soap......drench it?

It's a term coined here to replace the word bloom. There was quite a debate about blooming soap a while back and the word souse was created to replace bloom. It may have been @Linuxguile who came up with souse. Can't recall exactly.
