We invited everybody to an "engagement party" halfway through we introduced everybody to the Reverend and told them to have a seat for the ceremony. My step mom was furious because she wanted to plan the wedding. My mom was perplexed. My dad was confused even afterwards.
We had a great time though.

There's a brushless cream thread over on one of the forums Dom. Seems like Cremo wins the day.

 

Can't help you on the brushless stuff. On the brush like the Rooney you could get a QED brush from Charles. I have the 24mm in BB and it is my everyday brush, actually my only brush right now. The are about $59 before shipping. You can't get some smaller ones even cheaper. Darn good brushes.
