Nice of you to think that, Mr. Cawtuh, but I think I'm well-covered for the summer. I'll still be interested to see what Doc Ezlovan does about getting this one in, though. I would want to try the Lemony Orange as a sample first, I think. Lemon Chill is next on my mind as a glacial full-sizer. And last but not least I continue to be most impressed with the langwidge style you utlize in this medium. .
I don’t expect it to be a regular offering. It is actually a discontinued scent, from before the chills and Glacials took off. It was never offered mentholated, I have this one from some testing. The idea is that we speak for a batch, so that Rod can just make one, and it’s sold. No storing, putting up on the website, dealing with what doesn’t sell etc. Win Win for everyone, but we gotta order a couple of dozen. Well, maybe not a win for you, cause you’re stuck in a NB. Course people have dropped out for worse things than a limited run soap that hasn’t seen the light of day in years.
@Paul Turner - I put your name down for one of my tubs. I said I would PIF it, and I will. To you, if you want it. Friends don’t let friends ruin a NB.
So it looks like maybe 37 tubs to do a batch order. Instead of halfway, we are a third of the way there. I am working out what we need to do with Rod, so we can make this not be a hassle for him, but also make it happen. Time to start pimping the idea out to other threads.
After using the Glacial Eskimo Tuxedo this morning my face felt freezerburned. The Glacial Unscented balm and Arctique.......wow!
I want to stretch my Sandpiper A.S. out as long as I can...one of the first pieces of advice/commentary given me as a member was from @RaZorBurn123 , who said aftershaves can last a long time if you let them.
I'm getting bad at posting my Stirling SOTD's here, my apologies all. For Sunday's shave, I went full tilt Stirling. And the the star was Glastonbury! Holy crap is this an amazing soap and scent!!! I love this stuff!
After 36hrs growth, this morning’s shave was Iced Pineapple. Lathered on with an SOC Boar, and removed with two efficiently smooth passes from a Merkur California Framer. Unscented Glacial Balm wasn’t needed, but I did it anyway. Going outside to tackle the yard, so I’m giving The Veg a chance to bring a merry fragrance to my neighborhood..............or not.
@PaulTurner you bring up an interesting point. Do you honestly see value in stretching out an AS? For pennies on a use I have never thought about it before. Although with Sandpiper a little goes a long way... great scent. On another note, Mandy answered an email of mine and once again proved how classy of an organization Stirling is. She confirmed that they will no longer be offering pineapple cilantro bath soap because the manufacturer changed the oil and it was causing reactions to their employees. They are more concerned about the welfare of their workers than making a buck. Although I'll never get to try this scent, Stirling proves to be awesome people! Also, she informed me that the EDTs have been pushed back to some time in June.
June! Oh man!!! Did they mention when the rest of the Glacial's will be available? I'm holding out for these right now. Want to send some as a gift.
I'm glad you think so....for some reason I was getting the impression it wasn't that popular. I'll be sure to have another look now.
Sorry brotha, I didn't ask about the glacials. I'm scared of those! I did however place an order for iced pineapple to try my first menthol. I'll be sure to let all you menthol heads know how it goes.
