A truly wonderful shave this morning. MdC is so easy to load and lather and this vetiver scent deep, earthy and smokey. Three passes and touch ups along my neck and jawline ended with me catching the baby. A splash of Fine Fresh Vetiver paired well with the MdC Vetyver. I hope everyone has a great Thursday.

Thanks Clint! I think you guys have seen almost all my soaps. I have a few others but doing a focus I try to stick with one maker. For the sake of variety I have been using soaps I have several from that maker.

Prep: Cold water and Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap
Blade: Vintage Personna Ultra Chrome
Razor: Schick L5 'Revere' injector
Brush: JR #41 badger
Soap: Jeeves of Hudson Street Bay Rum
Post: Witch hazel, Fine Platinum aftershave

Easy shave with Jeeves Bay Rum and the Schick 'Revere' injector. This is a fun razor. It's pretty mild, like the L1 from yesterday, but easily effective. I enjoy these vintage blades as well. Superb lather whipped up by the Jayaruh #41 brush, easy whisker removal, and a nice finish from Fine Platinum. Nice shave.

This has been a long week! Looking forward to The Fat tomorrow and hopefully some slower action this weekend. Have a great day!

Actually, I think this little brush would look fabulous with a nice short lofted two band knot. I like how on your brush that you posted today the black band is very narrow.

 

Awesome! My wife's plan to help me organize my den to was get most of it out of the bathroom. So I have shelves in the bedroom with all my gear, which was not her intention at all. Once we get the addition done, I am planning on putting some shelves up for my gear in one of the two walk in closets. That way I can get to it, but she won't have to look at it. It's cool when the whole family get into it.
