After yesterday's enjoyable if somewhat mediocre shave I was hoping for better things from the OC.
It was as smooth and perhaps slightly more efficient and I do prefer the OC but I have razors as smooth and more efficient.
I will stick with the OC for the rest of the pass around to see if it becomes more efficient with use.
Did I mention it was stunning?

I bought this cream last summer because I like Simpson creams and wanted a nice summery scent.
At first I was underwhelmed by the scent, and was just beginning to get into it when the weather changed.
I remembered it last night and I'm very glad I did.

Blade: Gillette Nacet
Post: Cold water rinse, Vitamin E Oil, Cella Eau De Lavande

Final go with the Tatara and although it's beautiful I find it a bit mild for my liking.
I don't mind the fact that you can't use other handles, I really like the handle and the whole balance of the razor.
As I disassemble and assemble a razor each time I use it I don't like the long thread on the handle, petty I know, but it annoys me.

The best shave yet from this razor and I think it's because it's my first SE shave in ages and I'm using the right length blade.
Injector blades are slightly too short and AC ones are too long, so a pair of tin snips to the rescue.
After using mostly travel brushes recently the 2000 felt a bit like using a sledgehammer to crack a nut but a thoroughly enjoyable shave ensued

Yep, I usually have gone with a trimmed AC blade in the Model 3, and it's hard to beat.

The short injector blade was always on my mind when I used them whereas when you have a proper sized blade you can move the razor around more freely.

Maybe I just prefer the underdogs but in the same way I prefer the Gibbs 16 to the Adjustable, I prefer Cooper's three piece to the decidedly more hip Mono-bilt. Compares very favorably to the Fatip Gentile (I'd guess a little more gap, less exposure), a very easy and effective shaver.

Something unusual for the OC group.

Razor - Ikon SBS / Ikom OSS handle
Brush - Jayaruh 242
Soap - Barrister & Mann Seville

A very heavy razor head along with a very heavy handle. The SBS is OC on one side only. This razor requires a light touch, but too light and you'll drop the thing. Actually a very close two pass, hurried shave.
