Great photo and lineup Andrew. The MonoBilt looks fantastic and is such a unique razor.

Yes, the MonoBilt is king, and you have two of them!

Well, actually. Three of them at the moment. I've got two with diamond knurling.

    Congrats!
Is the new one as minty as your other 2?

Yeah, it's in pretty good shape. I picked it up because it came with the box.

    MAYhem Shifting Focus Gears

    Proraso Green PS soap
    Scentsy No.4 Cream SS
    Caswell-Massey Pure badger
    Suribachi bowl, cool water
    Gillette Heavy, Astra SP (1st)
    Alum, Osage Rub AS
    Proraso Green lotion
SOTD 05142018.gif Trying the PS soap with an under performing product felt like a Focus. Can't say the scent of eucalyptus and menthol goes with this cream's theme, but it helped add some slip and residual slide to a less than best lather.
Scentsy No.4 Lime, Crushed Mint, Cedarwood.gif
With a liberal application of both products I was able to find good service for a fresh blade in an old razor. Some where I bookmarked a chart of blade gaps that IIRC say the Red Tip isn't just heavy, it's also aggressive. I like both attributes and enjoyed an efficient 3 passes + cleanup. Into DFS territory with no nicks. Mentholed my Monday some more with O.R. AS & P.Green lotion.
    Good Shaves Y'all!

Excellent shot, Rick! The Red Tip is the only Super Speed I kept in my collection!
    Thank you, Ken!

New Fattip arrived over the weekend. First shave with it was good. I shave too fast with a DE, though. Would have been smoother if I had slowed down. Regardless, Tallow & Steel Dark was nice and dark this morning. Cheers!

That Stoylin Kong looks big....is it a 26 mm-er, like my Pro Handle?

Mayhem Survey Commentary: Slight gain from our leader, "Cookie"-25% up as we approach the middle of the month. With a trend like this going, Cookie may be setting himself up for an early "Winner Projection" by me-but we'll see how it looks in a week or so. Meanwhile "month to bleed" appears to have started out backside of the gate and going the opposite way.

Thank you, Jason. I started my dining experience last night, and I am sure it will continue today. It is wonderful and terrible all at the same time.
