Thank you, Andrew! I usually can usually smell the splashes for a couple of hours after application.

Hope the recovery and rehab go well. Looks like a good start post op so just follow the surgeon and physio through the programme and you should come out fine. All the best.

After almost 6 months, I needed a change. Great shave, but muscle memory was not there slowing me down. It was still nice and close with no irritation, but auto pilot was disengaged.

Prep: Cold water and Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap
    Blade: Personna
    Razor: Schick G4 '66' injector
    Brush: Surrey restored badger
Soap: Jeeves of Hudson Street Bay Rum
Post: Witch hazel, RazoRock Blue Barbershop aftershave

Easy shave again this morning with the Jeeves soap and injector of the day. The Schick 66 worked well and everything came together nicely. Not much more to report.

@Screwtape - Glad to hear the surgery went well. We'll look forward to your posts on whatever you choose to write about!

    Have a great day, everyone!

I really did not need another soap but after reading the thread on TSN, I ordered Soapy Science Lollipop Citrus. I had no idea when I was ordering that the soap is made just a few miles away from me. The soap was harder than most artisan soaps which I find a welcome change. Looking over the ingredients, I expected the soap to be slick with excellent post shave feel. Happily that proved to be the case with the added benefit of being easy to load and lather. The scent was a pleasant sweet citrus that was strong enough to last throughout the shave. Like most citrus scents it dissipated shortly. I was very impressed with the first use and look forward to using Soapy Science before making a final assessment. Three passes and touch ups left me just short of a BBS. A splash of Capri and I am off to fight a rainy morning commute. I hope everyone has a great Wednesday.
