Ever since you posted that razor in another thread, I’ve had that song from “Beauty And The Beast “ stuck in my head.

First shave with The Hussy. The head design and feel reminds be a lot of The Bunny, or The Bunny reminds me a lot of The Hussy. The rectangular handle was a little awkward on the XTG pass but otherwise felt great. Three passes left me just short of BBS. I finished off with some Stirling Glacial lemon Chill PSB for my daily face freeze. I will have to scrape the remaining Amici from the sides of the tin and redeposit them in the middle for its last shave. Have a great day my friends!

My youngest (18) had his first vintage wet shave today. I went easy on him and lent him an I1 with a NOS twin blade. “These really do shave closer, don’t they?” was the verdict. :eatdrink047:

    Beautiful razors!!!
There is a good reason the bunny feels similar to the Hussy. Beautiful razor!

    Your just an awesome Dad!!!

My Williams Wednesday shave. Vintage soap with a horse brush. Used my favorite 1912 with The Veg. Ahhhhhhh.

I get decent Shaves from the Supply but feel that I have to work quite hard to get there, in comparison to my larger AC/SE. It does shave very smoothly and I imagine it would suit those wishing to go SE for the first time.

I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Soap Commander Renewal Shaving Soap face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #287 brush. I did two passes with the Pal Injecto-Matic Razor with a Schick Proline B20 blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Barbasol AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

The LaToja Stick would make a good everyday soap imo, four days of use and my skin is doing grand.

Though I am not a great fan of the lighter AC/SE the satisfaction of getting a good Shave with them is quite rewarding. A no rush approach is best and I use very short strokes to do initial clearance. I find that the heavy vary-grip handle allows me to use the extra weight to use the very light / no pressure strokes essential to getting a good close all round finish. Pleased to say that today the Shave was not only trouble free but the finish was pretty top notch too.

    Yesterday :

Preparing blade for a more comfortable and efficient shaving.
50 crossings on linen canvas side.
    200 crossing son leather side.

    Today :

I hope blade will be more comfortable and efficient.
I just now will test it with another french razor.

    One hour later:

Shaved and DFS in 3 steps !:happy108:

The blade was not very confortable and efficient on the first step.
    But it was better after.
And I was able to go up ATG.
Not confortable on shaving, but not burning after.
    No blood, no irritations.
I think it could be better with more crossings on paddle.
Before next shaving: 100 crossings on linen canvas side - 400 crossings on leather side.

I1 injector today as I follow through my collection. Tomorrow I will begin a period of time with the Supply injector that is on loan to me. I'll send it back but have an extended period of time to give it a trial. Looking forward to that.

    Have a great day!
