I`ve been "Wet Shaving" for nearly 60 years, (can`t say the same for typing). The last 15 or 20, using pivoting heads (tremors). The Core is a pivoting head, SO, there should be little or no learning curve. I guess I`m wrong, again (not uncommon). After 3 passes, WTG/ ATG, XTG. Absolutely terrible shave, don`t get me wrong the razor was unbelievably smooth, but didn`t cut many hairs. Changed over to my toy razor, and with a little coaxing, came out with a 1 pass, lathered clean up in all directions, resulting in a DFS+. I will try again in the morning. Never give up until proved unworkable. God Bless.

Very fun shave last night (5.21.2018)
PAA limited summer soap - RABID BANANA has a very potent scent of Ripe Banana's - not a candy scent but a natural scent. I really enjoyed it and my bathroom smelled of banana for hours, the banana oil made this particular formula insanely slick! with post shave that lasted for hours, Now - even better is the limited Banana pre shave CUBE - this is also made with banana oil and its even slicker than the acho brito glyce pre shave soap - its limited and for 5.99 I say its well worth it as these cubes last !
Revisited my SUPPLY Jet Black Injector with the classic/medium plate - great modern injector..

Karve-D/BIC, AOS Sandalwood. Everything it's cracked up to be. Really hard to fault this razor. D plate is probably aggressive enough.

The shaving of today. Soap Portus cale citrus cedar amber, manchurian badger brush el Druida, razor vintage cutlery 6/8, after shave aqua velva ice blue, cologne acqua di Parma. Life is beautiful, enjoy it.

Even tho the scent has diminished from this soap, being thirty plus years old, it's performance is still top notch. Any after shave will work with it and today I used Deep Woods by Avon, a nice masculine scent. Two passes with a bit of touch up for a very smooth and comfortable BBS shave.

 

Wednesday's shave will be what Monday's was-thus:
