Good morning friends. Excellent three pass shave today with the Schick Adjustable. Marvelous lather from the Tabac shave stick. I finished with Old Spice... smooth and refreshed. Enjoy your day friends. ☺️

I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Tabac Shaving Soap face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #292 High Mountain White badger brush. I did two passes with the Gem Damaskeene Razor with a CVS Carbon Steel SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Peach WH and then Tabac AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

For today's attempt at mayhem I decided to see if I could get a Gem Industrial CS blade to cut a little better by giving it a few laps on the leather courtesy of the Ever-Ready automatic stropper. Started off with my cheeks and nope, this blade still didn't cut any better and was tugging badly. If this were my first experience with SE's I would have run and never looked back. Ditched the G-Bar in favor of the Schick Platinum with a Nacet still in it and AH, buttery smooth and sharp. finished off 3 passes and just missed the baby due to some increasingly tough whiskers on my chin. Today I used another heavyweight AC/SE , which are proving to be great Daily Shavers now that I have got used to them. In fact I find that I get better fault free Shaves with them than I do with a DE. On the rare occasions that I revert to the latter I find them less forgiving and more likely to cause a mishap.
I am astounded at how smooth and comfortable this Razor /Blade combo is during a Shave, and how easy it is to get a fault free Top Class Finish. Today was no exception, no doubt that lack of whiskers from yesterdays outing helped.

Prep: Cold water and Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap
Blade: Personna
Razor: Supply injector - two dot classic plate
Brush: Zenith B02 boar
Soap: Jeeves of Hudson Street Bay Rum
Post: Witch hazel, RazoRock Blue Barbershop aftershave

Good shave with the Supply on the classic plate. I have to use really short strokes and maintain strict focus on the angle, but am rewarded when doing so. Nice all around.

Decided a fresh blade was required the Claymore as had pushed the use of the last one a bit. Though not quite as pretty as some other AC/ SE,
I find that the extra weight does help it provide a pretty good Shave, and despite it being a new blade the Shave was smooth and comfortable. Perhaps I rushed a bit today as the finish was not quite as good as I have come to expect from this Razor.

After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Peach WH and then Tabac AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
