Back to Stirling; tonight’s shave was Coconut Lime again and my sweet little Merkur 1904. It took three passes for a BBS outcome, but it was irritation free and a chance to use more soap.
Stirling Fan here - Just tried the Iced Pineapple, very nice! My wife requests a non mentholated pineapple bath soap! She loves the smell... Also tried the lime coconut shampoo bar, fantastic...can't wait to try my badger brush!!! My favorite three shave soaps so far Orange Chill SDM Barbershop Iced pineapple is trying to take a spot! Great Job Rod and Mandy! Keep on keep in' on! Best, John
Your chill sensors are spot on. Frozen Tundra has more menthol than MITA, which has more menthol than Orange Chill. There's unfortunately not a good match for that scent in balm.
Well, it happened. Here I was talkinabout an event that had nothing to do with Stoylin and Doc Ezlovan put a "like" in the posts. Embarassed!!!
As a matter of fact, you're right, Mr. Cawtuh. Doc Ezlovan was interviewed at a Meetup a few years ago(Maggard's I think)and he said, when asked which has been his most popular, "Xecutive Man by FAR".
Let me get this straight, Mr. Cawtuh-you want a video of the lady utilizing her olfactory senses on me?
FWIW "Executive Man" is not only my favorite Stirling scent but is alone or tied with B &M Reserve Classic as my favorite scent period. And the EM Aftershave has very nice longevity.
No need to be embarrassed. I like to stop in and add likes to all the posts just to show a little appreciation for this awesome thread.
Oh I know you do, but the guys were ribbing me about an event pertaining to Clubman, not Stoylin. "The Stoylin Exchange" suddenly became "Paul's fun day at the supermarket" lol. Did you see any of my posts about my own "Stoylin Tony Awards"?
Might be a Stoylin Tony Awards nominee....we'll see. Some of the Xecutive man soap reviewers like Doc Ezlovan's "Confidence in a $2,00o suit" reference as part of his description.
You'd be a tough debate moderator @Latherin’ Luddite-throwing in your comment about me and cologne, then jumpring right in to "Back To Stoylin", without giving me a chance to respond. But actually, you're right. I'm not a cologne man unless it says "Aftershave&Cologne".
I love discussions that fall off the tracks. And I eagerly await any updates in your social success via Clubman. Carry on if have more juicy tidbits for us.
