No carry over. It's all directed at my daughter. Crazy, I know. :whacky011

Have you ever used the baby talk on the job? :D

I'm lucky these past few years. I'm in a unit that works behind closed doors doing super sneaky stuff. So it's just my coworkers that have to put up with my nonsense gibberish. I try to keep it to a minimum however. It does make me smile though whenever I think of something she said.

    This morning:

    "Want me med'cin papa"
"Mama hid the med'cin. She doesn't want you to take it anymore"
    "Mama mean wit me <pouting>

Classic. You had to be there. :laugh042

No, I understand completely. My daughter has been going to speech therapy for 2.5-3 years. Every sentence she utters is more precious than gold to me. And I actually only use baby talk when calling her cute little pet names, like Jenna Bean.

It's so bad that if I don't repeat what she says, exactly what she says, she gets all "no yeah!", that means "no". It gets a bit frustrating, but she's such a cutie.

She knows all the Christmas carols by heart, and has to remind Mommy which line comes next, in the right order. Of course, I then have to figure out what she said. She's killing me with the 12 days of Christmas. That and Deck the Halls are her 2 favorite this year.

I was singing Deck the Halls for her tonight, got my line wrong, and she says, "I skipped one". I meaning Mommy.

I should probably stop now. :o

My kid is 4 and won't stop talking (just hard to figure out what she's saying sometimes, and I'm her mother. Y'all wouldn't understand a word), but isn't potty trained yet. Of course if she could walk that'd be different. Girl is killing my back! She's more than half my height, and about 1/4 my weight.

    Boy or Girl?

My son turned 4 today. He was a bear to potty train. I think he was 2.5 or almost 3 before it happened. We fought and fought him and everybody told us boys do it when their darn good and ready. They were correct. One day he woke up and said he wanted to give his diapers to other babies and we haven't looked back since. I think he played us. Since that day no accidents, nothing. He tells us when he has to go and he rarely goes. No, I have to go to the bathroom now, when travelling. The kid has a bladder the size of a basketball. He can wait 8-12 hours and then we have to make him.

My girlfriend asked me recently what I'd like for Christmas. She told me "you've already got too much shaving stuff, so I can't buy you that". Guess she doesn't understand, huh?

Shep... you totally get me. I love you, man.

    :love055

Oooh. I hear unicorn blood is like rainbows.

Those are the best kinds of kids. :D
