Good morning friends. A fine three pass shave today with the Schick Adjustable fitted with a twin blade. Marvelous lather from the Tabac shave stick. I finished with Old Spice. Enjoy your day friends. ☺️

    Jayaruh #288 Synthetic
    GEM Damaskeene OC
    CVS CS SE
    CWR
    Thayer's Peach WH
    English Leather AS

I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The TSD Cool Lime Shaving Soap face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #288 Synthetic brush. I did two passes with the Gem Damaskeene OC Razor with a CVS Carbon Steel SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Peach WH and then English Leather AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

  15. I have not been getting the best shaves with DE's lately - so I went back to my favorite razor of them all - EVER-READY 1914 [aka "the mini lather catcher"] - this razor paired with the PAL Super Carbon blade are perfect for my skin...
Here is my Saturday and Sunday Night Shaves..

    Happy Monday!

  16. It is a great shaver. Because I can swap handles i prefer on the 1912 and Shovelhead those end up in my rotation more often. Will bring out the 1914 this week.

  17. Thank you for the kind words gents!

I was able to shave this morning. Last evening I applied some cortisone cream to the afflicted areas and coupled with not taking the maca capsules, the rash has mostly cleared up from my face. (still lingers on my chest) I also think the HBG aftershave splashes did their part in reducing the irritation. I did take it easy though. Still got a DFS result. May stick with this skin loving combo for the next few days.

    Razor: Gillette Guard
    Blade: Guard SE Cart (10)
    AS: Mennen afta
    Newspaper Date: Dec. 3, 1943

A simple, straightforward 1 pass, in 2 parts, WTG/ATG/touch up all over. With Neutrogena "lather", I shaved WTG to the chin and ATG on the neck to the chin. Still plenty of slickem left for clean up. A cold water rinse and plenty of afta AS. A DFS+ which leaves me a Happy Camper. God Bless.
