Over across the street there was some talk about using the ocmm as a daily driver. While I do get a couple of weepers in this shave, its not the fault of the hardware. I was talking, and trying to get my point across instead of concentrating.
Hope ya'll have a great day!

I normally use a milder razor for the first use of a Gem stainless blade but the long Windrose handle helped calm it down whilst keeping the efficiency of the 1924.
A very nice start to the week.
    Happy Shaving one and all.

A rather tentative Shave today testing out blade longevity. Though not terribly uncomfortable, in certain areas the blade did tug telling me enough was enough. No blood spilt nor irritation caused, but the overall quality of finish not at all good. I think this Twin Blade is good for 20 decent Shaves in this Razor, which considering my beard growth is very good.

Good morning friends. A fine three pass shave today with the Schick Adjustable fitted with a twin blade. Marvelous lather from the Tabac shave stick. I finished with Old Spice. Enjoy your day friends. ☺️

Saturday and Sunday Night - the 1914 did the job - the 1914 is my favorite Razor (and the schick type E2 is second)

    wchnu Duck Season!

That is a clog pruf? Nice set up.

I notice it is time for a new bottle of skin bracer my friend.

Nice Contour II. I am using one for my work shave today!

I love the baton handle razors. How did you like it?

I have been super busy with work and stuff. I hope to keep up better this month.

Bit of a rough shave this morning. First of all, Wilson was running around like a loon and we were going to meet my wife's aunt for lunch. So we were rushing to get ready some and it affected the shave. Went too fast and got several weepers. This razor isn't all that smooth to me like the other Schicks. It needs time and attention. Lesson learned.

    Enjoy your day!

    wchnu Duck Season!

Outstanding shave today. It's Monday so a bit of menthol is in order. Supermax SC and a big ole boar. Treet blade and GEM Contour II. Daylogic Brisk to capit all off. 2.5ish days of growth worked over nicely. The Contour II is mild but veddy effective.

I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Tabac Shaving Soap face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #288 Synthetic brush. I did two passes with the Gem Damaskeene OC Razor with a CVS Carbon Steel SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Peach WH and then Tabac AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    Schick Proline [ 9 ]
    Pitralon Original A/S Lotion

Another Schick Type N Shave, this time with the N1 loaded with a single blade rather than a Twin. Rather like yesterday the blade is past its best, and though the Shaving action was quite smooth the finish was rather poor.
At least it has confirmed to me that a Proline blade is OK for up to 8 outings max, and then a change s needed.

June 4th - Menthol Monday - I took the old lady out for a drive last night - I always fear being to hard on her, but in the end the HUSSY is in charge - she knows how to treat a man..

More than thirty hours of stubble stood no chance against the Clog Pruf and the combination of Solstice and Floid has left my skin soft and toned.

    wchnu Duck Season!

I think those razors are highly under rated. They can mow through whiskers like a fat kid on a cookie.

My turn to break out a baton handle GEM. This one was with a 2 day old treet and Tuesdays Tabac. The TOST LE brush was fantastic and the Clubman was....well CLUBMAN!!
