I hope the lunch went better than the shave Perry. Great photo at any rate.

Thanks, Clint! Lunch was pretty good. We met at Pappadeaux. I think you have one or two of those in the Atlanta area. Pretty good food.

Same here - no problems lathering Mystic Water soap. I have a pre-reformulation tub and fairly soft water. I read there was an adjustment to the base that made for easier hard water lathering. Unless you are purchasing vintage (as in a couple years old) MW soap, it should lather just fine in the scent of your choice.

Nice looking razor, Clint. I love what Delta Echo does with them!

I liked the lollipop citrus the best, but they are introducing a new rose scent if that interests you. The mint mint is a typical peppermint/spearmint blend. Doc's is nice, but didn't have as much "comeback sauce" for me. Obviously YMMV.

As has been happening far too often lately, I shaved first thing this morning, but haven't had the chance to post until now.
Kept the basic focus going again this morning, continuing to use my first DE razor/blade combo with Endurance. Added the P&G splash to the mix this morning. I don't know if Barrister's Reserve is as close to Shulton as many say it is, but it is certainly miles ahead of this product in terms of complexity and longevity. Still a great shave, though. The EJ 89 gets bashed a bit, and I get the pot metal issue, but it really is a decent shaver and with good technique can be quite efficient. Three straight shaves with Soap Commander has me realizing that I'll definitely pick up a tub in another scent (Vision, Courage, who knows?) when I go back to buying stuff. A great lather.
I'll keep the razor going for a few more days, but will mix up the software a bit for tomorrow trying to keep within the 'basic' realm...
    Have a great day all!

I think I am in the minority here. I actually prefer the LC and don't find it less efficient. Splitting hairs, though, as I love 'em both.

Love that vintage look, Neal! That photo looks like most of our Polaroid shots when I was young.
Lovely photo, Keith. The Arlington has made it to my cart a few times over the past few years, just never pulled the trigger. It is much more reasonable coming from the UK I've realized.
That razor is a stunner for sure, Clint. The whole combo looks exquisite.
Safe travels, Jim! I hope the business side of things is worth your while.
My goodness, what a stunning NEW. Whoever did that replate is a pro for sure, Joseph.
Is the E2 new to you, Perry? If so, I'm sure it is just a matter of time until you have it tamed.

Busy morning, Just getting around to posting now. On its fifth shave the Nacet was still super smooth but it didn't provide the closeness I was expecting. A DFS after three passes, good enough for a work day. Really loving the Stirling glacial PSB! Have a great day my friends!

The E2 can be a fickle beast especially if you don't give it the attention it demands. Here's to tomorrow! :eatdrink047:

June; Opps I used the good stuff.

    Proraso Green PSS
    Mystic Water Raspberry Lemon
    30 DC LE Cashmere brush
    Schick Type M injector
    Schick Chick blade
    Alum, Pinaud Lime Sec
SOTD 06042018 1st use of M Schick.gif I've been swayed by the MW discussion. Wasn't sure how the menthol & eucalyptus preshave would blend with the shave soap. Not well, but I am enjoying that little extra glide from the glycerin. After a hot water and Dawn soak, 91% alcohol dip, and very little old toothbrush action I popped a fresh Chick into my newest vintage blade holder. Three passes on Max setting left a nick on my lower left jaw. Been a while since I wielded a small cap razor. Alum was a little sparky, especially lower neck region. By the end of the month I ought to be getting flawless or less flawed reductions. Splash of Jolly Rancher Lime AS, and I'm back to waiting for a call from a new client.
    Good Shaves Y'all!

I’ve had an E2 for quite a while. This specific E2 is fairly new. This might be the second or third shave with it, but I’ve had a good many E shaves over time. Yeah, I need to use it again in a less hectic environment.

Perry I have only tried the Citrus scent and really like the scent and soap. I know they are working on Rose and taking orders on the Hanalei as well. The soap base is good enough to try unscented or you could wait and see if they add a scent you would enjoy.
