Tonight's shave was with a Boston/Germany made razor. It was a silky smooth, 2 pass shave, that left me BDBS. Zero issues. This razor is definitely spot on, with everything. Razor- Dame Stoodard & Kendal, Boston. Germany. Brush- JR#262 Ebony/Birdseye Maple. WD Silvertip. This is a beauty to look at, and to shave with. Soap- Arko/Avon Spicy Aftershave- Vintage Avon Brisk Spice.

Bartmann “Monday” Razorock Beehive MWF Razorock XX to finish I think you can see the crack at the pivot... it gave way in the middle of pass 2. Looks like I get a chance to make another set of scales. Enjoy your shave! Tom
My own Filly 14 today, just a plain-jane user, but with a fresh jnat edge it shaved like a million bucks. Soap was 'Scottish Barbershop' - B&M Vetiver, Heather, and Clary Sage lathered with a 3-band HMW. A splash of Pink was lovely with the VH&CS. Cheers, Steve
Got to do a test shave with this one today. Just got it off the Jnat and had to test the blade. Considering she is in near Nos condition she shaves amazing!!
Tonight's shave was with a Russian Beauty. I had a very smooth and very very noisy 2 pass shave, that left me BBS. Zero issues. I do like using the old Russian blades. Super sharp edges, very stiff, and noisy. Usually no touch-ups needed. Razor- Russian. "EKSTRA" ZTV 1956 Brush- JR#262. Ebony/Birdseye Maple. WD Silvertip. Soap- Arko/Avon Spicy scented Aftershave- Shulton Old Spice
@DaltonGang you inspired my shave tonight. I also used my 1955 Russian straight Synthetic brush I won in TSD’s auction Arko soap Shulton Old Spice Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Nice! One day I’d like to make one like that for myself. When my son was in scouts we made an neckerchief slide out of a pice of antler I had laying around. When you are drilling that stuff, man does it sink!
