It took me a couple shaves to get the hang of it and now I really like the big smile. Herr Razors claims the scales are carbon fiber but I think it is just plastic glued to a G10 liner. Still the scales look pretty cool.
Yes, it looks like it would take some getting used to. I usually don’t like the newer style razors, but that thing is definitely cool.
I wanted to buy a Saito S1 but the prices for a pristine model are crazy, I picked this up for 1/2 the price. The steel is good and no complaints about the grinding, I am very happy with the razor. The smile makes it a breeze to shave my neck and under my nose.
