What Straight Razor Did You Use Today?

It took me a couple shaves to get the hang of it and now I really like the big smile.

Herr Razors claims the scales are carbon fiber but I think it is just plastic glued to a G10 liner. Still the scales look pretty cool.

 

Yes, it looks like it would take some getting used to. I usually don’t like the newer style razors, but that thing is definitely cool.

I wanted to buy a Saito S1 but the prices for a pristine model are crazy, I picked this up for 1/2 the price. The steel is good and no complaints about the grinding, I am very happy with the razor.

The smile makes it a breeze to shave my neck and under my nose.

Dominique Lelys is a french fashion stylist, working for famous houses like Berlutti (shoes and boots), but designs also watches or glasses. He has also his own brand name for suits, shirts, ties and now Cologne. As a straight razor user, he asked some friends of the french forum "le 3C ou coupe-chou club " to test this last creation.

Tonight's shave was with a trusted Japanese Razor. I had a great 2 pass shave, that left me near BBS, without touch-ups. Great shaving razor.


Razor- Japanese "T.F.Hairops", Barbers First Quality.
Brush- B400 By Tom(@twhite ). WD Boar. 2 hairs shed.
Soap- Arko/Avon Spicy scented
Aftershave- Pinaud Clubman
