Crowne & Crane Thuringian Forest today. 20 seconds to load the Elite Razor/TGN Grade A Silvertip brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Vintage Wilkinson Sword “Light Brigade” NEW Chromium still in the Gillette Fat Boy. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Country Club Southern Oud aftershave.

    L'Oreal Men Expert Facial Wash
    Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster
    Super Speed/Astra day 4
    RVT Frosty Bay Rum SS
    Prep ASB
    Krampert's Bay Rum AS Splash
    Lagerfeld Classic EdT

Such an enjoyable BBS shave with so little effort thanks to my cherished 1950's Super Speed. The Astra blade performed perfectly, the Frosty Bay Rum soap lathered beautifully with its delicious scent and gave me a good menthol chill as well as lots of post-shave care. The Prep balm seems to pair with it so well and the Krampert's Bay Rum splash felt and smelled awesome.

    Have a super day!

    Proraso Pre Shave
    CTAPT Shaving Cream
    Jayaruh #288
    Jayaruh Wooden SE OC
    CVS Carbon Steel SE
    CWR
    Thayer's Peach WH
    English Leather

This was my first full shave with the Jayaruh Woody SE OC razor. It was a total success.

I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The CTAPT Shaving Cream face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #288 Synthetic brush. I did two passes with the Jayaruh Wooden SE OC Razor with a CVS Carbon Steel SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Peach WH and then English Leather AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Video is processing and will show up when finished.

Still nursing some leftover irritation from my mystery rash so I figured I bring out the big guns this morning. The Proraso balm is doing its job.

    06/06/18 - Last Night's Shave

    WILLIAMS WEDNESDAY
    1. Shower with Irish Spring Bar Soap & Clubman Country Club Shampoo.

    2. MODERN WILLIAMS - Face lathered with a big ol' Omega brush
    .

    3. PERSONNA Floating Head Razor II - with a Modern JAP Schick Twin blade on 4th shave.

    4. RITE-AID Witch Hazel.

    5. Phoenix Artisan Accouterments - Outdoorsman's Friend Aftershave/Cologne - this is a strong Citronella scent like Electric Sheep - but it seems to last longer and has some additional "barbershop" type goodness to it. If you are a Electric Sheep head - than you will LOVE this...

    Peace - Jamie

Although the Treet SE is a little mild for my stubble, using it every now and again doesn't hurt and I love the baton handle.
    Happy Shaving one and all.

    Schick G4 razor
    Personna 74 blade
    JR #85 brush
    Palmolive Mentholated SC
    Osage Rub/Witch Hazel w/aloe
    Barbasol Brisk A/S w/added menthol

Day 3 with this razor/blade combo and once again a very very nice shave. My face is happy. As mentioned yesterday, I get great shaves from Personna blades and will be looking at the longevity of this one. Normally I get around 7 shaves from a regular one so time will tell. I might get tired of the whole thing before the blade wears out. Who knows for sure? Now go enjoy your day folks.

I can get 20-25 shaves from a Personna 74 DE blade, but I have twice as many edges as your injector blade.

Jim - you are THE MAN! Such creativity and craftsmanship in making a wooden razor from scratch. Then you went and used it and nailed a shave. Much respect, sir!

Leviathan is a awesome dark scent. I detect coffee most of all, with sandalwood and leather mixing to make that unique accord.

It is a interesting scent. People seem to pick up different interpretations of it. Not one I cared for at first either, but now I use the EDT quite often.
