Great B&W Photo Perry. Sounds like you have a wonderful day planned. The University of Alabama always has new construction going on. Have her show you the entire new section under construction now.

Thanks, Clint! Will do. We're touring in an admissions golf cart, so Wilson will be thrilled to ride anywhere!

Happy Friday everyone. This shave was inspired by @Primotenore when he used Oxford & Cambridge earlier this week. His description of the scent made me realize that I should use mine as well. I was glad that I did as the performance and scent added greatly to the shave. Two passes with touch ups and buffing of the neck ended in another epic BBS shave. A splash of Fine Lavender and I am off to the office. I hope everyone has a great Friday.

    Happy Friday men!

Very nice shave this morning! DFS+. A tickle from the alum on my neck. Soap Commander provided the lather this morning and it performed great.

Three day weekend which is the norm when things are normal. Going to go do something I don't enjoy at all today, clothes shopping. All my summer clothes are too big and baggy on me now. Small price to pay for how much better I feel.

Have a great day gentlemen! [IMG]

Today's shave was an excellent, personal example, why I do not place much credence in "First-Use, First- Impression" reviews.
They make for interesting reading at times, however, it is through multiple uses, and by multiple, I mean >10, that one can develop a true understanding of the product and, by proxy, share that "opinion" with others. Now, admittedly, I have only used this CL soap 3x, but I can already disavow my first report and am going to keep an open mind as I continue this 30 lavender focus.
That disclaimer behind me, I took a finger-full of the soap and lined the bottom of my Aesop bowl,
(which by the way is being offered on their website for $25 and FREE SHIPPING until 6/15) and proceeded, sans "blooming" @wchnu,
to bowl lather (sorry Fuzzy, one out of two ain't bad) the soap into a super-shiny, wet, slick lather.
Buffing galore with the Gillette New (SC), even on the jaw line!
IF I had been introduced to this brush back in 2014, there's a good chance that I would have never moved on to badgers,
    so fantastic is the Mondial.
The CL AS continues to have a unusual background scent, which, to my nose is still unidentifiable. Definitely NOT a re-purchase item.
    Soap...maybe.

Bought this Shick on Ebay and it arrived a couple days ago. Seller said it was a G but after further investigation it appears to be an E. The box it was in said Eversharp made in Canada but I dont know enough to say it was the wrong or right box . Anyway after a good cleaning and a fresh blade here is its maiden voyage from my den .
