Very ingenius Jim. You are a very creative craftsman. Please leave me off the list, however. No offense, but I have not had good luck with GEM style razors.
No offense. You are exercising good judgement. However, once you understand how GEM razors work, they are so easy to use. Light touch and nearly flat on the face will do it.
Thank you for the tip, Jim. I'll have to give that a try with my GEM Featherweight. I use light pressure but have trouble with the angle. I think I add too much angle. I'll try flatening it out. Great tip!
A few of us already knew that binder clips make great razors by themselves! A clip and a blade. Simple. And barely lethal. Or is that rarely lethal? I get confused.

Just an idea, what if a thin coat of epoxy were used on the blade stops to strengthen them. I've used that technique when working on wood models to make parts stronger. Can even be used to strengthen the teeth.
