Pulled out one of my favorites this morning and it provided an absolutely superb shave. I hit it with a few laps on the red paste and see I left a little at the toe when I wiped it off... whoops Hot water preparation AOS Lavender PSO Declaration Grooming Pure Lavender Savile Row 3824 Wade & Butcher 6/8 Thayers Rose Petal Witch Hazel Happy shaving - Karl
Today's shave was with a very inexpensive Chinese Razor, that shaves like a dream. It takes and holds a fine edge. I had a very smooth 2 pass shave, that left me near BBS, no touch-ups. Zero issues, just a solid performing razor, for under $7. Razor- Chinese "ZY". Brush- B400 By Tom. WD Boar. 3 Hairs shed. Soap- Arko/Avon Spicy Aftershave- Vintage Avon Bay Rum.
Last shave before my departure: Ali's Blade This what I will use for the next week in Phuket while I do a fasting detox, Feather DX with Kai Captain blades.
When I haven’t shaved in a few days, this is the razor I most often reach for. This razor has a very heavy spine/blade and just plows through the growth easily. Friedr Walb Synthetic brush made by @Enrico Arko soap VIBR after shave Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

SOTD 6/9/2018 Razor: Red Imp 133 6/8 Full Hollow Strop: Red Imp Brush: Alpha T-400 Silvertip Badger Cream: Cyril R. Salter Fresh Mint Aftershave: Vintage Aqua Velva Alum: Razorock Alum I enjoyed a very nice, clean shave with my Red Imp 133 and my new T-400 by Steve Tinter, @Vlasta. Earlier today, I refreshed the 133’s edge on my Escher Barbers Delight and finished up with 100 laps on my Red Imp Strop. This being my third time using the T-400 brush, I have to say I’m smitten with it. The weight, the shape, and the knot, which has some super soft gel tips! If looks could kill, I’d be dead by now, even then you’d have to pry it from my cold, dead fingers.... I did a full three pass shave WTG, XTG, & ATG with no clean up, which was provided a BBS Dolphin smooth shave. The Red Imp was more than keen, it was laser sharp, exactly how I like it. The alum tingled on my upper lip and in a little spot, right under my chin, may have gotten a little too excited there. It being in the mid to upper 80’s F today, I finished off with a healthy dose of Vintage Aqua Velva. There really is something magical in the elixir that is vintage AV, the scent, the face feel, and the menthol, it’s all awesome. Finished the evening with Church at 5pm, because we have plans Sunday morning. Then fired up the Webber Kettle to grill/smoke some lemon/thyme salmon which was accompanied by a couple of ice cold, Missouri craft beers. Have a great one guys! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
