Thank you gentlemen! Jason @jtspartan , You didn't miss it. I announced it a few months ago and you did make a comment on it then. You may want to have your long term memory tested :p.

Felt real good to soap shave for the first time in about 4, 5 days,. but now it will be until the 24th when I soap shave again. I'll miss the routine. The CF(That's Chiseled Face, not Chinese Food, Corn Flakes, etc...from the list of a week or so ago, lol)....took good care of me...GTB soap&A.S. Result-a Dolphin Fine Shave!

Several guys reporting significant tenure in the Anniversary department! A few thoughts:
    1. Congrats!
    2. Wow. You guys must have some serious game. With our "real selves" on display here in the 30DC, I'm astounded that any of our wives have stayed with us for any notable length of time.
    3. Thanks for keeping hope alive. My wife and I are coming up on 13, and she continues to put up with me to this point. If you guys have dialed this thing in, maybe there's hope that she will continue to stick around for a few more.

For all of the bad rap AoS receives, one thing is perfectly clear:
At one time they sold THE best soap and AS products that money could buy. Period.

Then they went ahead and reformulated everything. :angry019:
We've beaten this subject to death, so I'll leave it at that.
This shave used AoS products pre-reformulation.
AND...it ranks up there with the BEST I have ever experienced. Perfect in every way.

Hyperbole you may say? Indeed it is---but so terrific was the shave. :happy088:

I love the fact that in this thread (at least in June) we don't even consider this as being *too* risky of a shave. I have a razor I removed the comb/ bar from, and it is an amazing shave. I may have to try no baseplate. Thanks for being the first lemming off the cliff.
