There are some razors I really enjoy using, there are some razors I really, really enjoy using and then there's the Cobra.
    Happy Shaving one and all.

It has been a long 8 months since Igor has been home. I had to get reacquainted with him. He is just as I remembered. Smooth and efficient. I did however forget about the wonderful music he plays while slicing through the whiskers. A nice sound for sure.

    Or.......
Would a "real razor" be a device from which, the blade can be removed? And everything else is a cart?

    Hmmmmmmmm. :scared003:

    Or........
A cartridge is something from which, the blade cannot be removed.

My brain hurts. I think I strained my cortex.

No debate with me..... It is a cart.

The blade is mounted in a cartridge.... Not removeable or not it is not a traditional single edge razor.

I'm afraid in this case, the whole razor is a cart....the blade angle is sealed in plastic making it a cartridge....

But if we place semantics aside....if Fuzzy doesn't dig it....well.....wait a minute.....is that a flying brick I hear?

Good morning friends. A fine three pass shave today with the Schick N1. Marvelous lather from the Speick shave cream. I am smooth and refreshed. Enjoy your day friends. ☺️

I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Williams Mug Shaving Soap face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #291 Synthetic brush. I did two passes with the Gem Featherweight Razor with a CVS Carbon Steel SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Peach WH and then Lucky Tiger AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Straight users could use the exact opposite argument re. shavettes.
I would class it as a disposable SE.
    Collins definition of cartridge:

"A cartridge is part of a machine or device that can be easily removed and replaced when it is worn out or empty."

Therefore, if it will be found smashed under a fuzzy brick, it must be a cartridge. ... Yes, Regis, that's my final answer.

    RazoRock Plissoft 24mm
    Cyril Salter Solid Soap
    ER !924
    Gem S/S [ 3 ]
    Jaguar Prestige A/S Lotion

Following a superb Shave with a Streamline, moved on to the 1924 which many find mellower than the Streamline. I now use it with a longer handle and have stopped shimming the blade. Todays Shave was so smooth and easy, and without any problems I attained a great close all round finish.

What a cracking shave that was.
The Streamline requires a bit more concentration than the Cobra but isn't far behind it in the efficiency stakes.
Finished off beautifully by the wonderful Bart's Balm.

It's a fixed blade disposable SE (my middle name is pedantic ;))
I haven't tried one but the Bic metal has a few fans in the UK.
