Another edit/ addition. I have been looking at this for a few days, then a friend said they used it and liked it allot so I figured what the heck.
I forgot this razor too. I wanted a 1971 and kept getting outbid so I bid on a few.... Got all the ones I bid on oh well, this one was like $7.00 plus shipping so we shall see. Gillette R-1 Super slim

This is only the last half. I received all the fatboys, slim, and Abc etc already. I have this issue about three times a year I splurge, its stress related. My wife called is retail therapy when she would go shopping. she isn't here anymore hence my stress.
So this isn't normal for me. In fact I have not shaven in a year since it happened. I am being overly picky about the fist shave trying to find the perfect combination..... most likely my beard is controlling me subconsciously to drag out the inevitable demise of its grandeur that is the food trap ..

So far its between the ABC King Gillette and the 58 fatboy. Still deciding on the soaps etc. Maybe Ill make some soap ( thats the beard talking)

 

These are the seller's pics, not too flattering, but the knot looks to be in good shape and the horn (I assume, faux), is something I don't have a lot of.
I'll post glamour shots after it arrives.

Sorry to be Brut ally honest. My son used it to cover a funky smell and now it just bring back funky memories.

On the plus side ... Me not liking it just means more for you.

 

Oh man, you made me remember a friend of mine used Brut to mask a funky odor in his car back in my teens... I dont recall the smell but I think it was a dead snake. oh man thats crazy. luckily I dont remember the bad smell, just the Brut with a hint of vanillaroma haha

 

You forgot Tabac, Florida Water, and your classic Pinaud Clubman.

I still need to try Proraso.

 

I will look into the Tabac and Florida Water. I saw a post earlier about Florida Water and it peeked my interest I do have Pinaud Classic though. I got lucky and bought a lot that had a full glass bottle and I had just recieved the larger plastic bottle. so I should be good for a couple days lol



Edit: Ok so after seeing the Florida Water and hearing them speak highly about it and then you mention it I went ahead and got a 16oz bottle
