Mornin' SD'ers. Nice to see the whole gang hard it it this fine day. A shout out to our bud Tracy who's already on his third in flight cocktail by now. Safe journey bud. We'll be lookin' for ya in Nebraska tonight.

Does anybody else use the Personas add on in Firefox? If so does it just cut out on you and stop working like every other day? This has been going on since I started using FF and on several computers. It's weird. Some sort of glitch in the program is my guess but just wanted to make sure I'm not alooooooone.

A public shout out to miss Jen who helped Shep out last night with several frantic PM's regarding what in thee hell to purchase over on Avon. We ended up w/ three real nice fragrances (I hope). If not I guess some lucky guys girlfriend or wife will get a nice PIF after the holidays.

Gonna shave w/ a Feather for the first time today. The infamous Feather. Heard much about them; now it's my turn. TOBS Avacado sounds about right. Yep, that'll do.

 

Are you going to put the Feather in the Slant? Old Fatty Techs and Feathers are a great pairing. I never used a slant though. Hope it goes well for you.

I only own two razors: the slant and a 65 SS. The SS prob. won't get much use anymore. Tracy says the Feather/slant combo works great. We'll find out in about 15 mins.

 

Shep, you need more variety in your life. Remember, not all blade work the same in different razors due to gap and all that stuff. WHy only two razors?

 

I only have two safety razors. No real need for more. Variety be damned.

 

I was just viewing who is online and see a few of the guest are spiders. WTF is that all about?

I just don't have any desire for a large collection of razors I guess. I'm not averse to trying out new stuff, but just don't choose to spend my shave money on them. I am glad Tracy got me into the slant though. It's a much better, closer shave. Really can't imagine another razor doing it any better. btw the Feathers did provide a nice shave. I don't really get what all the hubbub was about though. Sure they're sharp, but I was worried about slicing my nose off or something the way people carry on. I used the same amount of pressure and the same technique as usual with no blood loss. Honestly it's a pretty good blade, but I'm not noticing any major improvement over others I've used. Don't get me wrong, this is definitely one of the good ones. Maybe not worth the money they cost however. I need a few more shaves to be sure. I wouldn't mind keeping some on hand for the rotation.

Looking forward to trying out the Astas Dom is sending.
