Well, I am embarrassed to say that it appears I have abandoned ship.
I do like talking about my shaves in this thread as it seems to get more narrative.

I received this AoS Oud in a trade for a puck of AoS Tallow Sandalwood. (I have plenty, so I am using them as currency). The Oud is a woodsy, cologne type scent, that before today, was unfamiliar to me. Me likey. The AoS creams aren't bad at all, indeed the ones that I own (Rose Absolute and Peppermint) are great performers. My neck was rather tender from yesterday's "day two" '11 R41 shave. I got carried away and did some ATG buffing on my neck. Paid the price. So I tossed the Personna 74, opted for a 7 O'Clock in the Feather AS-D2 and stayed clear of the "baby". My skin is much happier this evening and I expect a full recovery by the time tomorrow's shave rolls around.
The DG B5 is a brush that is unmatched for denseness in my brush stable. It's like a solid wall of hair on top. Excellent shave that I finished with a generous splash of vintage Old Spice Musk AS.

Get well quickly my friend.

 

1 more day to go on my full fast detox, so far I’ve lost 12 lbs . I also just finished off my travel stick of Arko, @Drygulch it’s been in my dopp bag for ages. I’ve been shaving with my Feather DX, Arko, Semogue boar and some enhanced Alcolado Glacial.

 

Between fire school last week and hazmat this week, I haven't done my actual job in two weeks. Fire school was pretty fun, but it was tough. I had serious concerns about passing, and wearing bunker gear at near 100 degrees and 80% humidity and then waking into a fire to add a little extra heat brings joy. This week was pretty much classroom stuff. While the fines and reporting is fun, the mind numbing paper just seals it for me. Too bad I am all done. Back to my day job tomorrow.

 

Well, now I have another cream to look into. Great looking shave!
