Thanks, Charlie. Doing better now. Katie is still shaking it off a bit. She had a fever for 4 straight days. When I was home from work she would crawl up in my lap to rest and called us “sick buddies”.

 

The Shaveys are back. Two more awarded today...

 

Well I was a restaurant owner and publican for ten years here in Phnom Penh and traveling circus could fairly well describe my mostly expat clientele I suppose. These days my daughter spends the summer school holiday with her mother and extended Khmer family while I mostly just carry on with a huge group of friends acquired over the years, mixing in a bit of travel. It works out well for all concerned. It's a pretty rough life.

 

Gentleman Jack is a favorite of mine.

Satsuma is a wonderful scent. Stirling has some great scents. I picked up twelve samples, I want full size pucks of nine of them.

I'm continuing with the easy, two-pass shaves from my birth quarter FB. I currently have it set on 5. It's working fine there, so I will leave it for awhile. I'm sure I'll run it up to setting Neal by the end of the month just for fun! I ain't got nothin' to learn and nothin' to prove this month, and so far, I am meeting expectations! Here's a photo of my FB in all its crusty glory. I've also included a photo of what's left of the never-ending puck of Mike's Natural Soap. I estimate that I have between 2 weeks and 3 years of soap left in the container.

I'm in the process of catching up the last few days of posts. Please forgive me if my comments seem a few days behind.

Thanks Jason. The Italy trip was a blast. My college buddy and I enjoyed our Stitzel-Weller distillery tour yesterday. Since our Brides weren't there to supervise, we relived our childhood as kids who grew up around Louisville with big slabs of fried fish for lunch here and large ice cream cones here:
