Coate’s Lavender Cream today. 10 seconds to load the Maggard Marble Synthetic brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Vintage Wilkinson Sword “Light Brigade” NEW Chromium still in the Gillette Fat Boy. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Stirling Barbershop aftershave.

For those lucky ones whose fathers are still with you, say something special to them today.
For those whose fathers are no longer with us, whether recently, or like mine, 32 years passed, remember them fondly.

  13. Happy Father's Day Everybody!!!

    Prep: Hot Whisker Rinse
    Lather: Barbasol
Razor: 1973 Personna Floating Head Injector
    Blades: Personna/ems d2.....Schick Pro-line B-20 d2
Post: Skin Bracer....Clubman Original....a splash of each.

Today I did a shave off between these two blades...Left Face: Personna....Right Face: Schick Pro-line
In this razor, they both shaved equally close. 3 pass Super BBS !
The Personna had more blade feel/feedback and the Pro-line had that, "Is there a blade in this razor?" Type feel.

This razor is extremely efficient...Very much like the PAL Injecto-matic, guess it's in it's DNA.
But it feels very MILD, like a Schick L type..
This can be a little confusing for some...When it feels so mild, most folks want to use more pressure, but DON'T. No pressure needed, this is a deceptively aggressive injector razor!

    Great 3 Pass BBS!

  15. It did cut but it wasn't smooth, this is why I said struggled.
I use a Wilkie Sticky sometimes and it doesn't struggle, it just glides, so I don't know why.
