Shawn I read that last pass post also. I think I will try that on my troublesome spot.

Night all. This 1 hour time difference is playing games with me. I shouldn't be tired but am. Could have something to do with the amount of food I have ingested in the last 24 hours also.

Interesting post. Sounds like a pain to go buy all those oils and then mix up a witches brew. Plus I don't like the idea of gunking up blades and razors with oils. Thayers WH provides a nice, smooth, touch up pass lubricant. I did this fairly frequently w/ the SS. Doesn't seem to be quite as necessary w/ the Slant. Try your Thayers xmas present after you open it Tracy.

 

AOS is the only shave oil I have tried, and I did not like it. It didn't seem to offer much benefit, and it seemed to gum up and make the razor harder to clean. I have not tried making my own.

I had to run and take care of a little bidness. The gifs didn't appear to work too well over here on TSD for some reason I don't understand. They use the same code here as over on the B and they always worked fine there. Still some people could see them and some could not. Then there was this whole mess of moving them over onto a website called ImageShack and linking to them from there. Then that site stopped working for me. It became a real PITA.

A quick poll. Who can see these?:





EDIT: Oh yeah. Now after posting them I see two of them aren't working. That's the other thing. When I upload them using picture manager it converts them from animated gifs to still pics.

EDIT2: Yet the barber pole does remain animated. Do you see? This is why I gave up.
