Great photos, Jared! Travelin' in style.
How do you like the scent of Jeff's Soap? I wasn't sure at first, but I came around to it quickly. I'll be somewhat sad when the puck is (eventually) gone.

That is one incredible setup, and an equally incredible photo! That brush is gorgeous (and so is the Rex)!
The Bergamot Lavender is a very nice scent, which surprised me. I never thought that lavender would be up my alley. Turns out I was wrong.

On setting 4 this razor is a BBS machine! Just the right amount of blade feel for me and leaves nothing in its trace. This razor is so wonderfully balanced that it doesn't matter which direction you are going it just glides with ease. Have a great weekend my friends!

    Razor: Impoverished Patrician
    Blade: Dorco STD-301 (5)
    Brush: Semogue 620
    Soap: Der Vergulde Hand
    Post: Alum, Listerine, WH

I decided to skip the Fatboy today and try another combo with the Dollar Store Dorco blade. The shave was... really pleasant. I'm really perplexed now as to why I had issues with this blade early on; I think I may have to go back to where it all started and pull out the 60s SuperSpeed I started this journey with. No issues today as I managed to not cut myself accidentally (or to split an infinitive). :)

Good luck with the new home process, Charlie! That's great that you have gear you enjoy using, and get good results with. It's so easy to get infected with AD, only to find you have a bunch of gear that sits on the sidelines. Enjoy your day at Churchill Downs!

I hadn't thought of it that way, but I think I agree with you Andrew- These are my favourite Gillette razors.

I thought the same about lavender until I picked up a bottle of lavender witch hazel, turns out it's one of my favorite scents.

Prep: Cold water and Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap
    Blade: vintage Personna chrome
    Razor: Schick G4 '66' injector
    Brush: Omega 10049 boar
    Soap: Mitchell's Wool Fat
Post: Witch hazel, Fine American Blend aftershave

I'm on the road but brought the Fat Friday setup. Worked quite well other than a new vintage blade that gave me a couple of weepers. You have to watch out with this 66 injector. It's a little stronger than some of the other Schicks. But a good shave overall.

    Enjoy your Friday!
