    I find I like Atomic Age better than Captain Smythe's Reserve. I still like the reserve, but to me it has a little synthetic quality to it.

    Good morning friends. Excellent three pass shave today with the Schick E2. Marvelous lather from the Proraso shave cream. I finished with Old Spice... smooth and refreshed. Enjoy your day friends. ☺️

    My final shave with the Rex Ambassador and having only used it with very slick soaps, I wondered how it would cope with a decent middle of the road soap.
    Also, while the brush was soaking and after the photo, I decided to shave one half of my face with the Gibbs No.15 (@4) loaded with an Astra SP.
    As suspected the Gibbs glided more smoothly and the slimmer profile of the head made tidying up under the nose a bit easier, but the actual finished shave was identical and there was zero feedback from the alum block on each side.

    Brush: oscar11/TGN High Mountain White-22mmx48mm
    Aftershave: Burberry Brit EdT

    WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angles for my beard)

    CRSW Glide Olfactory Hue today. 20 seconds to load the oscar11/TGN High Mountain White brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Gillette Silver Blue in the Maggard V2 Open Comb. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Burberry Brit EdT.

    I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Fine Snake Bite Shaving Soap face-lathered well with the Semogue SOC brush. The Snake Bite is a wonderfully mentholated shave soap that lathers easily and does a great job of protecting. I did two passes with the TNNSER Razor with a Pal CS SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. This third shave with the TNNSER was flawless. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Peach WH and then Florida Water. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
