    Razor: Bakelite Gillette Tech
    Blade: Dorco STD-301 (6)
    Brush: VdH Boar
    Soap: Der Vergulde Hand
    Post: Alum, Listerine, WH

I was posting on another forum about the wartime Bakelite Tech razors and decided to pull one of mine out for today's shave. I really should use this one more often, especially now that I have a second one, as it is a really great razor which delivered an excellent shave with no issues.

You are killing me with the food pics. I am still trying to loose the weight added on the cruise.

    Wonderful filter effect Jim.

Great photo Jason. Just a classic shave.

Just freaking Wow. Between the razor and the brush, I am smitten.

I hope we are making similar memories for our kids as well, Jim.
We've leased an RV spot near a nice lake a few hours away for the past 3 years. Nice lush forest with an easy walk down to an uncrowded beach. We feel very lucky.
I posted a few shave pics from the lake last summer, but I'm not sure you were very active on the thread yet.

Wow, Jason, that sounds great! Your kids will look back with fond memories.
I missed the pictures, I joined the forum March of this year. It sounds like there will be more coming.

I hope everything is okay with our Fearless Leader, @NCoxSTL. I see that he has been logging in, but I thought he said he was going to be active again after Friday?

Since I'm only beginning my 3rd week of wet shaving and using the same razor and everything for 4 weeks I haven't posted much. I've got to say though that the pics everyone has been sharing are awesome. I hope my shaves are improving, this morning I was in a rush so I only did 2 passes, but it's okay. I'm having fun. The only thing I've varied is the aftershave I've been switching between Captains Choice' North and Stirling's Stirling for Men. The truth is the only reason I've been using the Captains Choice is so I didn't waste the money - the scent is great it just dissipates to fast for my taste otherwise it is a fantastic product.

Happy Birthday, Andrew! Great birthday shave and photo! You're still a pup, by the way, and we all know things improve with age. Just think how handsome you'll be when you're as old as @wchnu. ;)
